I used to go to a yoga class up at the church every Tuesday with my friend, Alli, until she moved....I have to admit that I wasn't very diligent once I didn't have a workout buddy anymore. However, for my very first workout in our Biggest Loser competition, I went last night and realized how much I missed going (and being flexible and in shape!). It was so wonderful and I'm so glad I went!
Anyway, I do have a question. Is there going to be some kind of consequence for not working out the three times a week? I know there is for the weekly competitions but I don't think we ever talked about the actual workouts that we're supposed to be doing. Because I will say that someone in our household hasn't done a workout this week and I'm wondering what's going to happen if he (oops, did I just give away who it was?) doesn't do them. Anyway, just thought I'd bring that up!

Is he-who-must-not-be-named planning on being in the competition? I hadn't heard anything from him. Perhaps there should be a consequence. I can let you decide that, though. I don't want people to be mad at me for potentially taking more of their money. lol

LOL! Oh Rachel, I had a great laugh about the "he-who-must-not-be-named".
Maybe the consequence should be having to go through the old mill a certain amount of times the next time we're all together. (If you're not familiar with the old mill it's when everyone stands in a row and someone crawls though everyone's legs while they smack that person's behind! With all the people we have that would be a big punishment!)

lol I guess it depends on how hard they smack! :)

Hehe I almost forgot about that :) good times. Mine would be a punishment for sure. I don't really slap hard but I have been told that it kinda snaps the skin like a whip ;)

Working out doesn't mean you have to sweat like a hog at the gym or to a video. Walking is a very good workout. I don't know if you know this but "working out" only accounts for about 20% of your total calorie loss each day. the other 80% is what your body does to function.

Have we decided what we will do if everyone follows the plan exactly? Like everyone chips in for the biggest loser?
